Such as with this picture. This is a picture of a baseball player, but there's more to that story. At every Nationals game, in the middle of the 3rd inning, the Nats have "wave your caps" and then have military recognition. Every game. (Which I personally think is pretty cool. I don't know of any other team that does this, so if you do, feel free to tell me.)
During yesterday's military recognition, I happened to glance at Ryan Zimmerman and noticed him clapping. For all the Nats games I've been to, that's the first time I've ever noticed a player participating in the military recognition. It's not much and certainly nothing for the world to stop spinning for, but I thought it was neat to see one of them acknowledging the people that make the world a little safer.
