I'm the girl. Or a girl, rather. And this is my journal.

I'm a Canon girl, in fact. I post pictures that I've enjoyed taking or have some sort of meaning to me.

I have a penchant for manual and use it at all times unless I'm forced otherwise. Even if I am forced otherwise, I still avoid the auto function like the plague. (Not there's anything wrong with it, just not my function of choice. I like to have complete control over my camera.)

I'm biased towards natural light and sports photography. I'll photograph pretty much anything, but baseball photography is probably my favorite.

I'm still learning and it's a continual process as most photographers will tell you. By no means do I know everything about photography, but I'm happy to share what I do and grow along the way.

A few things I love in life are my family, my camera, sports (baseball & hockey!), writing, food, books, scarves, and a good cup of coffee. I often incorporate all (or most) of these elements in some way.

I think of myself as a Renaissance woman with many passions. Photography is just one of them. This is simply a photo journal to highlight my adventures along the way of where ever I'm headed.
