I love photographs.
Photographs tell so much.
Just one picture can encapsulate so much emotion, expression, and nostalgia.
Plus, at the end of the day, photos are the only real tangible memory you have left to relive the memory as best as you possibly can.
Over the last couple years, I've started to love photos. A lot. I love memories and all the fabulous times I've had. Photos are an extension of that to me. Plus, something really fun about photography for me is the thrill. The thrill of getting the shot of the player right as he releases the baseball. The shot of the little girl laughing with natural light highlighting her blond hair. It's all just so much fun.
I'd even go as far to dare to say that yes, sometimes even editing is fun. Frustrating, yes, but also fun.
Now I'm realizing I have so many pictures. It almost borders on ridiculous. Give me an SLR, zoom lens and baseball game and I'm a goner. If it's an MLB game, you can count on hundreds of pictures. And I do mean hundreds. Even if it's my brother's baseball league my poor shutter (and fingers) fair no better. For one thing, my fingers really do start cramping up and within the span of two hours I hit well over 100 pictures. (Try 300 and that's only because my memory card filled up;).
But with all those pictures, I figured I should do something like them. So here's this photo blog/photo journal/whatever it is. All of my original work unless stated and some out of camera quality, some edited.
Hold on for the ride.
